* Open the top large printer cover

* Open the smaller cover on the right above the ink tanks and prepare the ink bottles.


Unpack and prepare the bottles


Flip the blue lever over the cartridge upwards - you can start from the black and at the same time unscrew the plastic cap from the black ink bottle  
 



Turn the bottle downwards ( it is sealed, nothing flows out of it ) and insert it ORIENTALLY ( ie the wings longitudinally ) into the slot of the black cartridge ( see picture ) .... ink gradually starts to flow out of the bottle. If the ink does not flow, you can try to extend / retract the bottle or "very gently" turn it right / left in the retracted position.
Never squeeze the bottle - the ink will leak by itself

Fill the container to the top line ( marked in red ), then remove the bottle, close the lid well and store the rest for further refilling (store the bottles upright in a darker place - out of UV, day light )     


Close the cartridge lever and repeat the process for all colors - each color of ink in the same color-coded cartridge

Finally, close the color cartridge cover and the printer cover

AFTER FILLING THE TANKS WITH INK,  KEEP THE PRINTER IN THE HORIZONTAL POSITION
 

Before starting print quality settings, install sublimation paper in the printer for test prints 

Paper A4

For A4 format papers use a front tray ( adjust the plastic guides inside this tray to fit to this format )

Install the sublimation paper with the print ( whiter ) side DOWN

If you make a mistake and you install the paper upside down - nothing happens - only after the print on the wrong side there is noticeably less contrast (subli paper / Epson DS).

If you use Texprint / SubliPrime paper, the back of the paper is clearly marked with a logo

Paper A3

The rear feeder is available for A3 size ( load sublimation paper with the whiter print side up )
Max paper size 329 x 483 mm can be loaded in the rear feeder

Print Quality - Maintenance



When printer si filled with ink, you are asked to perform print quality settings, press Print


Print Head Nozzle Check

Press Print and the printer will print a Test print - on the paper you will have printed oblique lines in individual colors and your task is to check that all lines have been printed completely without any interruption (see picture) .... which means that all nozzles are clean and all colors print correctly.

If everything is OK, press the wheel

If over time you feel that the images are either too red / blue ... please always start with this check. If the line of an individual color is broken, the printer will not print this color completely (this color or shade will be missing in the picture ) - you will then clean the nozzles, see the maintenance chapter

Note : It has already happened to us that even with a completely new printer ( from the warehouse ) it was necessary to perform cleaning 3 times

ICC Settings / Color Management

Color management is handled differently for Corel / Photoshop, default values can be used in most cases.

You must set the correct ICC profile when printing from any application
(example - print from Corel)

Correct colors according to color profile: load and confirm Sublisplash_EPN_ET15000 ....

 

Maintenance



There is MAINTENANCE in the main menu 

PRINT HEAD NOZZLE CHECK
If any colors are missing from the image, check the nozzles. If there are broken lines in the control image - do:

PRINT HEAD CLEANING
The nozzles are cleaned and the test print is printed again


POWER CLEANING  ***
Perform powerful cleaning (flushing the nozzles) with more ink if normal nozzle cleaning does not help


PRINT HEAD ALLIGNMENT 
Printhead alignment (already described above)

HORIOZONTAL ALLIGNMENT  -  if you have blurred text or lines
VERTICAL ALLIGNMENT  -  if horizontal streaks appear on the printout

Clean the nozzles only when needed. Cleaning is performed with ink flowing into the waste collection unit.
Excessive cleaning leads to the premature need to replace this unit

Collection unit T04D100 (called maintenance box is located at the back, see picture)

If your collection unit becomes full, it must be replaced
 

Handling the printer
 

If you fill the cartridges with ink and the collection container gradually fills up over time, make sure the printer ALWAYS stays horizontal when moving / transporting the printer, otherwise the ink may contaminate the interior of the printer.
