Firmware upgrade to printer CP3800DW matt function

 		 Note : firmware upgrade should be attempted by competent PC users only







 		                                         
                                              
   
STEP 1


 		 If you wish to use gloss & matt function on the printer Mitsubishi CP3800DW, first upgrade (install) new driver version 3.0.
 Installation of driver must be done before firmware upgrade
Please download driver acc. to OS you have on your computer  :
 
                                                                Driver CP38002K for WIN2000                     (version 3.0, size 4.6MB)   
                                                                Driver CP3800XP for WIN XP                             (version 3.0, size 4.6MB)                                                                  Driver CP3800V for WIN Vista                     (version 3.0, size 5.6MB) 
                                                                Driver CP3800dw7 for WIN 7 (32 i 64-bit)     (version 3.0, size 6.5MB)                             
STEP 2 Please donwload firmware to printer CP3800DW for matt function, than "unzip" it and copy to your PC which is connected with CP3800DW.

STEP 3



 		 There are 2 versions of firmware to CP3800DW,  if you have on your PC installed system :
WIN 32-bit ->  please use version CP3800_0130_Win32
WIN 64-bit ->  please use version CP3800_0130_Win64

STEP 4



 		 Make sure, that printer is ON / correctly connected via USB / fully functional with new driver 3.0 on your PC.

If you have OS WIN (32 bit) on your PC, please double click file CP3800_0130_32.exe (see picture)
If you have OS WIN (64 bit) on your PC, please double click file CP3800_0130_64.exe
 



 
STEP 5 Please confirm correct name of printer you wish to upgrade (press OK, if you have Mitsubishi CP3800DW)



 
STEP 6
 		 Please be sure -  not to switch off PC or printer during firmware upgrade, or to disconnect el. power or USB cable during this procedure !
Click button START for firmware upgrade.
 If you do not want to take a risk with failed firmware upgrade,  please send printer to company LIBEREK (generally to your dealer) which will upgrade safely your machine.



 
STEP 7 Status is changing during installation, when installation is complete and announced  **Compleat**, push Button END to finish firmware upgrade.



 
STEP 8




 		 Restart your PC to be able to set new MATT function at driver settings.
After restart, please open :

Mitsubishi CP3800DW Properties -> Priniting Preferences -> Paper quality -> Advanced ... please set Overcoat finish (see picture) :

Glossy - if you wish to print GLOSSY finish
Matte - if you wish to print MATT finish
