Mitsubishi DX-ZD6UE is external memory unit, which can be placed on the top of digital videorecorders DX TL4509 / 4516 / 5000E (see picture).
It operates in 2 modes - either it extends internal HDD memory of videorecorder (span mode), or it works like copy / backup device in mirror mode. DX-ZD6 can be connected separately even to standard PC (via USB), when user can browse in all recorded datas with help of DX-Viewer (part of DX-PC200).
Each extension unit is fully independent, having its own power supply, fans
and one can install max. 2 x 500GB HDDs (SATA) inside of cabinet.
It is possible to connect up to 7 extension units to one videorecorder,
it means memory of one videorecorder can be externally extended
with max. 14 x HDD (7 TB) totally.

DX-ZD6UE is connected with DVR with USB data cable, in case of linked switch ON from DVR with cable on the rear terminals too.

HDDs installation
 		 To install HDDs it is necessary to remove front plastic panel - mechanical HDD holders can be ejected to front (see picture), cabling, screws, etc., are attached.

 		 It is possible to switch On external units from DVR, following connection is necessary to implement this function

                         

Viewing of datas if DX-TLZD6UE is connected to PC
 









 		 If you connect DX-ZD6UE direct to PC via USB, you can run on PC program  DX-Viewer (program need not be installed on PC), which provides folloowing :

- to view one or more camera windows
- to replay recording forward / backwards, step by step or in various speeds
- to replay audio( it depends on DVR model)
- to search in recording according to datum-time, to search a reply alarms /
  bookmarks / ATM transactions
- possibility to capture and export images and export them into bmp / jpg,
  to print them
- possibility to export video to  AVI or  jpg sequence
